Showing “Military Familiy Letter” circular seal and “surface mail by water” cachet. Transit Kunming (19 Apr). Arrived Kweiyang (24 Apr). Military familiy letter was supposed to be postage free for airmail but this mail required surface mail. This postage was effective for only 10 days. 1949.4.18 霑益寄貴陽。軍人家書，貼印花稅票改值金圓30枚，合1500元國內平信郵資，銷雲南霑益三格點線日戳。鈐“軍人家書”圓戳及“交水路陸運”指示戳。4.19經昆明。4.24抵貴陽。軍人家書為航空免資，但此封要求“交水路陸運”。此郵資僅使用十天。
