1879 Macao (10 Apr) to USA. Registered cover, applied with Macao type 3-3-2 single ringed index B cds and framed "REGISTADA" marking (handfilled no.9) . In combination with Hong Kong QV 12c + 8c, tied by B62 obliterator, alongside with Hong Kong (11 Apr) cds. Transit London (19 May). Arrived New York (31 May). Rough edges and monting remnant on reverse. It is the earliest record of "REGISTADA" mark. Macao type 3-3-2 cds is also scarce as Choi Cheong Too only recorded 15 covers and postcards. Ex- F. Mayer. No. 891 cover in "A Survey and Recorded Postal History of Macau 1616-1891" by Choi Cheong Too. 1894 Macau Luis I surch “PROVISORIO” 2a on 10r. MNH. Very Fine. According to the article “Macau -2 avos sobre 10 Reis” published in 1944, someone showed up in the state printer with sheets of Macau Luis I 10r stamps and requested surcharge of 2a on them, claiming it would be used in Timor. After that, this type of 2a/10r stamp appeared on the Yvert catalogue which claimed that this stamp was circulating in Timor. However, this stamp never actually circulated and was a clandestine production. As the governor of Macau Horta e Costa was a philatelist, he ordered to detain mails f.w. this stamp and prohibited to cancel it on cover. However, CTO stamps exist after several years as the order was forgotten. 1894年澳門路易士一世改值“PROVISORIO”2仙蓋10厘士新，無貼上品。按1944年《Macau - 2 avos sobre 10 Reis》一文，曾有人攜同澳門路易士一世10厘士版票至國家印刷廠，並要求加蓋改作2仙，聲稱是於帝汶使用。隨後此款郵票便出現於Yvert目錄中，並聲稱是於帝汶使用，但實質上從未正式流通，為私下加蓋。同為集郵家的澳門總督高士德下令扣留所有貼用此票之信封，並禁止蓋銷。但數年後禁令被人遺忘，故有蓋銷票存世。
