Arrived Tientsin Russian PO (21 Oct). Given the chaos after Russian Revolution in 1917, many Chinese merchants in Sinkiang remitted their assets back to mainland China. 500 rb is the maximum amount permitted. Adhesive cancelled at Tientsin Russian PO (16 Jun) upon transit. Arrived New York. Unlike other Russian PO in Sinkiang, Kasghar PO stocked only Russian stamps and no record of acceptance of ovpt.
