1898 Wuchang (11 May) to Peking. Double-registered red-band cover, f.w. Litho Dragon 4c + 5c + 10c, tied by Hankow dollar chop, alongside with scarce "Wuchang Post Office" vertical registered mark and two R marks. Arrived Peking with "Postage Paid / No More Charges" marking. Probably the earliest mail from Wuchang Post Office.1898.5.11 武昌寄北京。雙掛號紅條封，貼日本版蟠龍4分 + 5分 + 1角，銷漢口大圓戳，旁鈐少見之“武昌郵政局第卅壹號”掛號直戳及兩處R章。無北京到達戳，但有“信力已付勿索勿給”戳記。可能是武昌郵政局存世最早的信件。

Usage of US stationery card in China inland is also unusual.1898.5.13 鎮江寄美國。美國1分郵資片用作明信片，貼蟠龍1分，銷八卦戳，旁鈐鎮江大圓戳。5.14經上海，6.24經三藩市。鈐T章。無上海客郵局中轉戳奇特。美國郵資片用於中國內地亦甚少見。
