1933 Italian minelayer Lepanto, Shanghai (15 Mar) to Italy. Picture postcard, f.w. definitive issue 30c, tied by "R. NAVE / LEPANTO" cds. Arrived Suzzara (7 Apr). Lepanto was in Italian service in the far east until 1943, when she was scuttled in China, during World War II. She was then recovered by the Imperial Japanese Navy and taken into service as Okitsu. She was surrendered to the Republic of China after the end of the war and served for a further ten years with its navy as the Hsien Ning.1933.3.15 意大利佈雷船Lepanto號自上海寄意大利。圖片明信片，貼普票30分，銷“R.
