1866 (Jan 5), envelope embossed “PASEDAG & Co./AMOY” seal on flap to Steinwarder Hamburg / p. Triest, showing oval “FORWARDED BY / Wm. PUSTAU & Co. / HONG KONG” handstamp in red and bearing Hong Kong 24c green wing margin (tear at top) cancelled “B62”, with matching “HONG-KONG / C” c.d.s. (18 Jan) on reverse, black oval “2. / St. P.A. / 2C 2” handstamp on front, rate “1/-”, handstruck “6” applied at Triest, “8” Schillinge plus local delivery equals Hamburg “9” Schillinge. Very fine and early franked cover from the Treaty Port of Amoy. According to the research from Dr. Jeff.
