Arrived Lyon (28 Jun). The content described the Taiping Rebellion. Interesting. This mail was carried by Singapore, Nubia and Valetta. 1856.5.6 廣州寄法國。Canton Tea Report印刷複本，寫有“via Marseilles”、郵資“1/-”及“90”，鈐Webb 11型香港已付小皇冠戳記及香港5.9中轉戳。 6.28抵里昂。內容曾提及太平天國，有趣難得。此信經Singapore、Nubia及Valetta號送遞。

Both carried by Ganges, Hindostan and Valetta. 1856.9 一對經相同船隻自廣州寄法國之郵簡，寫有“via Marseilles”、“1/-”、“10”及“20”郵資，鈐Webb 11型香港已付小皇冠戳記及香港中轉戳。兩封均由Ganges、Hindostan及Valetta號送遞。

Only less than 50 covers with type 1 h.s. were recorded by Webb. This cover was carried by Chusan. 1856.5.23 廣州寄孟買，寫有郵資“4”，正背鈐少見之廣州英局Webb 1型已付圓戳及2型日戳。5.24經香港。6.22抵孟買。封底部分分離。Webb記錄中廣州1型圓戳之存世例子不過五十件。此封由Chusan號送遞。
