1875 Siamese Palace Locals the "Rising P" 1st issue, tied by circular postmark. In 1875, Prince Bhanurangsi Savangwong and his friends published a daily newspaper called "Court". Stamp was affixed on the newspaper (1 stamp for delivery to location within the capital wall, 2 stamps for outside). These stamps were cancelld by pen stroke or postmarks. This type of stamp marked the start of postal service in Siam.
