Arrived Moscow. Mongolian illustrative postcards are extremely scarce. It is one of the only 4 examples recroded by Hellrigl and two of the them are of type A (Archer) image. The franking of surcharged pictorial issue even elevated this piece. Illustration fig. 212a, p. 275 in "The Postal History of Mongolia 1841-1941" by W C Hellrigl. Arrived Novosibirsk (21 Apr) with censor mark. Mongolian illustrative postcards are extremely scarce. It is one of the only 4 examples recroded by Hellrigl and the only one with type B (monument) image. The franking of surcharged pictorial issue and Baiantumin Han cds even elevated this piece. It is one of the only 4 examples recroded by Hellrigl and it is the only one with "Turner" image. The franking of surcharged pictorial issue even elevated this piece.
