S2 obliterator on covers are scarce as Webb only recorded 6 covers and postcards.1877.7.17 汕頭寄美國，貼香港維多利亞女皇像4仙 + 8仙，銷少見之S2紫色殺手戳，旁鈐汕頭英局Webb B型紫色日戳並寫有“Via San Francisco”批示。7.18經香港。8.31抵三藩市。S2殺手戳之封片十分少見難得，Webb記錄僅有六件。此封可能為汕頭英局日戳蓋於封面之最早記錄。

Dr. Andrew Cheung, however, recorded two examples on postcards in which it is the earliest and the only outgoing one.1907.4.22 煙台寄英國。圖片明信片，貼香港愛德華七世4仙，銷極少見之煙台英局Webb B型日戳。Webb記錄中，此戳僅見於四枚舊票上。張文德醫生則記錄有兩件圖片明信片例子，此為兩者中日期最早，兼是唯一一件出口者。
