The Mission enjoyed provisions from yizhan in China and Tibet, but mail route was not yet open, hence the detour of this letter by sea route. Holcombe Certificate 1983. Ex-Chazen. 1909.1.9成都寄往“泥巴爾”，由貢使寄給尼泊爾大君，1.28經上海，2.16經印度Tuticorin，2.21到達加德滿都。貢使享用驛站招待，經四川走陸路回國，但陸路尚未通郵，需走水路才能送達。1983年豪琴證書，蔡盛舊藏。

During Oct to Nov 1912, Nepalese embassy and merchants were moved to a temporary smaill town Kirmulung. Historical example of this very period. 1912.7.18 尼泊爾軍隊指揮官寄Kirmulung，寫有寄Kirmulung批示。貼印度愛德華七世半安娜，銷尼泊爾日戳。 7.18經基地郵局。7.23抵江孜。在1912年10月至11月戰事期間，尼泊爾商人及大使館短暫移至Kirmulung。出自該非常時期之出色例子。

1890 (May) letter to the King of Nepal Bir Shamsher by Sheng Tai, the Chinese Amban in Tibet, Darjeeling, applied with large red seal. Very rare Amban letter sent outside Tibet as the Chinese Amban Shengtai was in Calcutta to sign the Tibet Sikkim Boundary Convention by that time. The Convention recognized a British protectorate over Sikkim and demarcated the Sikkim–Tibet border. 1890年5月駐藏大臣升泰寄廓爾喀國王Bir Shamsher，鈐紅色官印。出自西藏以外的駐藏大臣公文非常稀罕。當時升泰正在加爾各答簽署《中英藏印條約》。主要內容是清朝承認哲孟雄（今錫金）為英國的保護國，劃定哲孟雄與西藏的邊界。
