(6 Jul) on reverse. Further transit London (22 Aug). The cover was
first marked "1/9" in which 1d was for rate to Hong Kong. Then was
changed to "1/8" which corresponds to 24c Southampton route rate
and 16c trans-Atlantic rate. Addressee in US probably had to pay 3c
out of 5c US inland rate only given the "2CENTS" applied in the
UK.
