cds, alongside with “Postage 10c is charged per cover” vertical
cachcet, prefix and serial number by ink brush. Since 1927, Qiaopi
from French Indochina had to be franked with stamp and sent
individually instead of in bulk, in order to comply with London
Postal Convention. Several Qiaopiju, such as this example, did not
comply and therefore was imposed with postage due of 30c double
international letter rate. Only a few incoming money remittance
covers with postage due franking to China exist. With original
letter. Cover opened out for display.
