1884 Canton (31 Mar) to USA, f.w. Hong Kong QV 10c, tied by Canton BPO Webb type B cds. Transit Hong Kong (1 Apr), San Francisco (26 Apr). Regarded as double rate with “2” at top left and levied postage due. Applied with US postage due mark of 20c. In combination with US 5c in strip of 4 on reverse. Arrived Philadelphia (3 May). Also an early example of Webb Canton BPO type B cds used as a canellation on adhesive after C1 obliterator was withdrawn. 1884.3.31 廣州寄美國，貼香港維多利亞女皇像10仙，銷廣州英局Webb B型日戳。4.1經香港，4.26經三藩市。郵局判為超重應收取雙倍郵資，故於左上角寫有“2′′，另鈐美國欠資20分指示戳。背貼美國欠資票5分橫四連。5.3抵費城。同時為停用C1殺手戳後，以廣州英局B型日戳直接銷票之早期例子。

ca 1930s Hong Kong to USA, f.w. Hong Kong KGV 20c, tied by faint Japanese steamer cds, alongside with "PAQUEBOT" cachet. Showing "Per S/S Tatsuta Maru" annotation. Tatsuta Maru was a Japanese ocean liner owned by Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK). 約1930年代香港寄美國，貼香港佐治五世20仙，銷日本郵船日戳，旁鈐“PAQUEBOT”橫戳。寫有“Per S/S Tatsuta Maru”批注。龍田丸為日本郵船株式會社之船隻。

1862 Amoy (5 Feb) to Hong Kong. Entire letter, sent "p Aden". On reverse with Chinese manuscript. The content was mostly about export of tea from Amoy to USA by steamship Ioharma Kalkmann. Early pre-adhesive mail from Amoy is very scarce. 1862.2.5 廈門寄香港。郵簡，寫有“p Aden”郵船批注。背面寫有中文批注。內容有關自廈門經輪船出口茶葉至美國。早期廈門史前封十分難得。

1865 Amoy (26 Oct) to USA, sent ‘1-9-1/2” and set “via Southampton”, f.w. Hong Kong QV 4c + 18c + 24c, tied by Webb type A Amoy Paid cds in red. Transit Hong Kong (28 Oct) and further applied B62 obliterator on adhesive. Transit London (22 Dec). Showing “5 CENTS” h.s. With Holcombe signature. When Amoy BPO was established, the stamped covers were required to bring to Hong Kong Post Office for sorting where QV stamps would be cancelled again by B62 obliterator. At the origin Amoy, the red Amoy Paid red cds has been cancelled as well. This method was adopted before the use of A1 and D27 obliterator. Pearson recorded about 16 stamps QV stamps applied with this cds while Webb recorded 13. Provenance: Admiral George C. Dyer 1865.10.26 廈門寄美國，寫有“1-9-1/2′郵資及“via Southampton”批丕，貼香港維多利亞女皇像4仙 + 18仙 +24仙，銷少見Webb A型廈門英局已付紅色日戳。10.28經香港，貼票再鈐B62殺手戳。12.22經倫敦。鈐“5CENTS”戳記。帶Holcombe簽署。在廈門英國客郵局成立之初，貼票之信封需經香港分揀，並再銷B62殺手戳。在始發地廈門則使用此紅色已付日戳，隨後被A1及D27殺手戳取而代之。Pearson記錄共有十六件貼票封使用廈門已付日戳，Webb記錄則有13件。源流: Admiral George C. Hong Kong QV 8cc, tied by B62 obliterator. Transit San Francisco (19 Dec). Since 1 Nov 1867, Hong Kong to USA via San Francisco mail only charged 8c per 1/2oz and were applied with Hong Kong Paid All cds. 2005 (25 Jun) Zurich Asia, lot 795. 1874.11.4 廈門寄美國，背面鈐廈門英局A字始發日戳。正面寫有“USS Yangtzie, Amoy Nov 2. 1874”批注。11.4經香港，鈐PAID ALL紅色日戳。貼維多利亞女皇像8仙，銷B62殺手戳。12.19經三藩市。自1867年11月1日，香港經三藩市寄美國郵件每半盎司僅收取8仙，並蓋上香港PAID ALL戳記。2005.6.25 蘇黎世亞洲，拍品號795。

Hong Kong QV 30c + 12c, in total of 42c, tied by B62 obliterator, matching with Hong Kong cds (6 Jul) on reverse. Further transit London (22 Aug). The cover was first marked "1/9" in which 1d was for rate to Hong Kong. Then was changed to "1/8" which corresponds to 24c Southampton route rate and 16c trans-Atlantic rate. Addressee in US probably had to pay 3c out of 5c US inland rate only given the "2CENTS" applied in the UK. 1869.6.25 橫濱經英國寄美國，背面鈐橫濱英局始發日戳。正貼香港維多利亞女皇像30仙 + 12仙，合42仙，銷B62殺手戳，另鈐香港7.6中轉戳。8.22經倫敦。封面先寫有“1/9”郵資，當中1便士支付寄香港郵資，並改作“1/8” ，即可解釋24仙修咸頓郵路郵資 + 16仙跨太平洋郵資。美國國內郵資為5分，但由於鈐“2CENTS”戳記，故收件人應只需付3分。
