Remedios” oval forwarding agent seal on reverse. Arrived Bombay (21 Jan). Since 27 Jan 1866, Hong Kong to India by British packet rate was 8c. Scarce triple rate example. Remedios was a prominent Macanese-Portuguese merchant family active in Hong Kong and Macau during the 19th century. 1866.12.30 香港寄印度，寫有“P Mail Steamer”及“郵資“2/-”，貼香港維多利亞女皇像24仙，背鈐香港日戳及“F. Thos. Remedios”轉運代理橢圓形戳記。1.21抵孟買。1866年1月27日起，自香港經英國郵船寄印度收取8仙，故此為三倍郵郵例子，少見。Remedios為十九世紀活躍於港澳之葡人商人家族。
