1916 and 1917 a group of 3 censored covers in Shansi, applied with "Shansi Capital City Censor E", "Fansze- hsien Government Office" and "Shansi Censor" censor markings. Shansi conducted postal censorship under the governance of warlord Yan Xishan.

1916及1917年一組三件山西檢查封，分別鈐“山西省城郵件檢查員E驗訖”橢圓戳、“繁峙縣公署驗訖”直戳及“山西檢查員驗訖”橫戳。山西於閻錫山統治時期實施郵政檢查。
