1955 Phari (19 Jun) to India, f.w. C13 (4-1) $400 for Tibet to India letter rate. Transit Yatung (24 Jun). Arrived Kalimpong (27 Jun). Tibet-to-India letter rate was same as Indian domestic rate 2a before the effect of Sino-Indian postal convention 1955. Given fluctuation of exchange rate, $450, $400 and $500 postage was seen. 1955.6.19 帕里寄印度，貼紀13（4-1）400元合西藏寄印度平信郵資。6.24經亞東。6.27抵Kalimpong。在1955年中印通郵協議生效前，西藏寄印度平信郵資等同印度國內郵資即2安娜。由於匯率變化，曾見400、450及500元郵資例子。此為極晚之400元郵資例子。蔡盛及王劍智著《青康藏郵驛史》第395頁圖24原件。
