Lot 2540

1955 Indonesia (28 Jan) to Lhasa via India, f.w. Indonesian issue x5, tied by Ampenan cds. Attached with a skip stating “Please forward to the destination Lhasa, Tibet” by Calcutta Foreign Post. Since the Indian post in Tibet was handled over to PRC, it is a very late example of Indian post in China. No arrival was applied.

1955.1.28 印尼寄經印度寄拉薩，貼印尼票5枚，銷Ampenan日戳。貼有加爾各答郵局之便條指示轉寄拉薩。由於印度在西藏郵局於1955年4月1日移交中國，此為甚晚之印度在藏郵例。無到達戳。
