5 Nov 1900, QV registered postal stationery envelope, Size G, from Hong Kong to Nicaragua; 10c uprated 2 x QV 20c on 30c grey-green cancelled by Hong Kong c.d.s. (code "D") with black on white registration label "R/ HONGKONG CHINA / No.4315" alongside with San Francisco 3-line registration handstamp (8 Dec), New Orleans (17 Dec), and arrival registration handstamps, the address is on the reverse along with New Orleans registration label. Another Chinese handstamp in red about the sending merchant in Central 「郭廣隆」 at that time. A legible purple box should be read as "R/BIG TRAVEL / No.1654/GRAM 40". This rectangular boxed marking was likely applied at a U.S. transit or exchange office, such as New Orleans, to help process heavier or high-value registered mail. A very good registered postal stationery envelope sent to Nicaragua, South America.

1900年11月5日,由香港寄往尼加拉瓜的维多利亞女王註冊郵資信封(SizeG), 面值10仙,另加貼兩枚20仙加蓋30仙灰綠色維多利亞女王郵票作為補資,均銷以 ** "HONG KONG D/NO 500”香港日戳林。 信封正面贴有白底黑字香港掛號標籤 “R/HONGKONG CHINA / No. 4315”,另見美國三行掛號戳 “REGISTERED / SAN FRANCISCO, CAL/DEC 81900”,以及**新奧爾良轉運日戳(12月17日)**與收件地掛號戳。信封背面寫有寄件地址,並貼有新奧爾良掛號標籤。另有一枚紅色中文手戳「郭廣隆」,應為當時位於中環的華商寄件人。 信封上另蓋有一枚紫色長方框戳,內文為: "R/BIG TRAVEL/No. 1654/GRAM 40”,推測為美國中轉或交換局(如新奧爾良)用以處理重量或高價值掛號郵件的標記。 此為一件難得一見、從香港寄往南美洲尼加拉瓜的優美掛號郵資信封,郵資正確,轉遞清晰,具多地掛號與轉運戳。
