Tibet Panchen Lama Mail Treasure Seal on overlapping strips of paper. Unlike other seals for religious and other purpose, this seal was only used for submitting the most important documents to the emperor and was applied on a continuous stringof paper to wrap around the scarf letter for protection and security. The Treasure Seal was granted by Emperor Qianlong to thesixth Panchrn Lama in 1780, cast in silver and inscribed in Manchu, Chinese, Tibetan and Mongolian. Overall fine despite a fewedge faults and backing paper. A rare and highly important seal. Provenance: Tibet Stamps and Postal History, Chazen andWong, 2019, P.52.

西藏班禪喇嘛紅印，蓋於折疊紙條上。不同於用作宗教或其他用途之印章，此印只用於向皇帝上奏最為重要的文書，並蓋於折疊紙條上，以作保護及保密。此印章由乾隆皇帝於1780年賜予第六代班禪喇嘛，以白銀鑄造，見有滿、漢、藏、蒙文。雖邊角帶有數處損傷及托紙，但總體品相仍佳。珍稀難得存世印章。王劍智及蔡盛《青康藏郵驛史》2019年第52頁。
