Revenue stamp surch Gold Yuan $2000 in pair on front and SYS, Parcel stamp surch Gold Yuan + SYS Gold Yuan x14, in total of $7800, tied by Chengtu bilingual cds. This cover was probably paying international registered airmail letter rate $8000 (wef between 1 - 10 Apr 1949) but the rate was already adjusted twice on 11 and 17 Apr. Cover opened at right.

1949.4.18 成都寄上海。航空掛號封，正貼印花稅票改值金圓2000元雙連，背貼孫像、包裹票改值金圓票及孫像金圓票14枚，合7800元，銷成都點線漢英日戳。1949年4月1日至10日之國際航空掛號信函郵資為8000元，但隨後在11日及17日已調資兩次。封右方打開。
