Lot 492

1929 Shanghai (22 Oct) to Philippine via Hankow. Airmail cover, f.w. Peking 2nd Print airmail issue complete set (Chan A6-10) + State Burial 10c + Unification 10c + Junk 5c on both sides, tied by Shanghai bilingual cds. On front with bilingual "AIR MAILS" marking, registered mark and label. Transit Hankow (23 Oct) but returned to Shanghai (26 Oct) via domestic airmail. Given the peculiar route and addressee W. Brugmann (famous Filipino philatelist), it is philatelic in nature. Still, very interesting.

1929.10.22 上海經漢口寄菲律賓。航空封，正背貼北京二版航空票全（陳目A6-10） + 國葬1角 + 統一1角 + 帆船5分，銷上海三格英漢日戳。正面見“航空郵件”戳、掛號標籤及掛號章。10.23到漢口以國內航空回到上海（10.26）。郵路奇特，加以收件人W. Brugmann為菲律賓著名集郵家，故此為集郵封，但仍十分有趣。
