1904 SMS Geier, Chemlupo (23 Apr) to Germany. Korean 2nd issue 4ch PSC, in combination franking of Germania 5pf, Korean Eagle stamp 1c + 2ri + surch 1ch on Tae-Geuk 25 poon, tied by German Marine Schiffspost No. 36 cds and Chemulpo PO cds in French respectively. Arrived Kiel (5 Jun). During Russo-Japanese War, SMS Geier remained in the region and observed the war development, notably poking around at Chemulpo. Very scarce German military item from Korea. Franking of theh surch 1ch issue is also very appealing.

1904.4.23 德軍戰艦Geier號自濟物浦寄德國。朝鮮第二版4錢郵資片，混貼日耳曼尼亞像5芬尼及朝鮮鷹郵票2厘 + 1錢 + 太極圖改值一錢蓋2錢5分，分別銷德海軍36局及濟物浦朝鮮郵局法文日戳。在日俄戰爭期間，Geier號於當地觀察戰爭發展，多停留於濟物浦。出自朝鮮之德軍軍郵十分少見難得，貼用太極圖改值票更是錦上添花。
