1904 (16 Feb) Corps' d'Occupation du Tonkin cover from Kouang Tcheou Wan to France, frankless and applied with "COMMANDAT SUPERIEUR / QUANG TCHEOU WAN" circular seal, Fort Bayard Desrousseaux type 1 cds and type FM77 "CORPS EXPED" circular seal. Desrousseaux claimed that type FM77 seal probably had the characher "TONKIN" scratched out. Examples rare.

1904.2.16 東京遠征軍封自廣州灣寄法國，無貼票，鈐“COMMANDAT SUPERIEUR / QUANG TCHEOU WAN”圓戳、西營Desrousseaux 1型日戳及FM77型“CORPS EXPED”圓戳。Desrousseaux指FM77型圓戳應是刮去“TONKIN”字樣而成，此戳之存世例子甚少見。
