1865 (25 Oct) Cover from Shanghai to Hamburg, f.w. Napoleon 20c x44 + 20c, in total of 8f90c, tied by 5104 dotted obliterator, alongside with Shanghai French PO cds, CHARGE, PD and framed hand filled weight mark. It is the largest block of French 20c used for registered mail. Despite some soiling and stamps with defects, it is an amazing French registered mail from Shanghai French PO. Some adhesives damaged in some way but a very spectacular French P.O. Charge (Registered) item. Provenance: BASLE 3 – The Alex Droar Collection / Robson Lowe Auction, Oct 1974
