1897 Empress Dowager first print surch large figure, wide space 30c/24ca, with "30" shifted upward variety (Chan 55d), tied by Customs cds. According to Shih-Jen Chen, only 11 mint and 3 used examples were recorded for this variety stamp.

1897年慈壽初版加蓋大字長距3角蓋24分銀，帶“30”上移變異（陳目55d），銷海關日戳。按陳士仁記錄，此變異僅有11枚新票及3枚舊票存世。
