1918 Kobdo (12 Dec) to Waikwan, Peking. Red band cover, f.w. Junk 2c + 7c on reverse, tied by extremely scarce Kobdo Chinese PO Hellrigl type 1 cds. Transit Urga (30 Dec), Kalgan (16 Jan). Arrived Waikwan (17 Jan). Cover opened out for display. Kobdo type 1 is probably the rarest cancellation of Mongolia. It is also interesting that this cover travelled via Urga instead of the direct route of Ulisautai and Sair-Ussu. With original exhibit page.
