Lot 3847

1850s a group of 3 Dutch East Indies Qiaopi bulk mail covers, from Reside Madion, Semarang or Tagal to Rembang, with oval “ONGEFRANKEERD” postmarks and postage manuscript. Chinese immigrants living in the small towns had to remit the money to Rembang first where the Qiaopiju remitted to money to China. A nice group of early Qiaopi postal history.

1850年代一組三件荷屬東印度僑批總包，分別自從粉、三寶壟或塔葛寄南旺，鈐“ONGEFRANKEERD”橢圓形戳記， 並寫有郵資。當時小地方的華僑先將批款寄往南旺，南旺的批局再寄回中國。一組十分難得的早期荷屬東印度僑批。 當中一件為2008年版許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第313頁圖7-40c原件。
