1893 Chefoo (12 Oct) to Shanghai. Red band cover, f.w. Chefoo LPO 1st issue 1c, tied by Chefoo PO bilingual circular seal. On reverse with Chefoo LPO oval d.s. Arrived Shanghai LPO (14 Oct). Interestingly, Charles Dougan claimed that both these two types of Chefoo LPO cancellations were used during pre-adhesive period.

1893.10.12 煙台寄上海。紅條封，貼煙台書信館第一版1分，銷“工部信局”漢英圓戳，背面鈐煙台書信館橢圓形藍色日戳。10.14抵上海工部郵局。有趣的是，Charles Dougan指這兩款郵戳均用於前貼票時期。
