Lot 2888

1988 Seoul (3 Mar) to Japan, f.w. extremely scarce counterfeit Gilt-bronze Maitreya stamp (KPDA D209), tied by Seoul d.s., alongside with printed matter mark. This type of counterfeit stamp was made by erasing the printed part of the Squirrel 5w stamp and reprinting the Bodhisattva image on it. These stamps were sold by dealers to collectors. Commerical usage are very scarce.

1988.3.3. 首爾寄日本，貼有稀罕少見之菩薩像100圜假票（KPDA D209），銷首爾機戳，旁鈐印刷品章。此假票的製作方法，是先把松鼠圖5圜的套印抹去，再把菩薩像100圜的圖案印上。這批假票由郵商售予集郵者。實寄者相當少見。
