1901 (24 May) Imperial Korean Post 1c stationery card in blue from Chemulpo to Yokohama, tied by Chemulpo cds in French. Arrived Yokohama (30 May). On 1 Apr 1899, Japanese post raised postcard rate to 1-1/2s while Korean Post rate was 1ch. As the mails between Japan and Korea were applied with domestic rate due to the postal convention, using Korean postcards was 50% cheaper.

1901.5.24 大韓帝國藍色1錢郵資片，自濟物浦寄橫濱，銷濟物浦法文日戳。5.30抵橫濱。1899年4月1日，日本郵政上調明信片郵資至1錢五厘，但韓國為5錢。由於往來日韓之郵件採用國內郵資，故使用韓國郵資片便宜一半。
