1862 Amoy (29 Mar) to Scotland, sent "via Marseilles" and rated "1/6", applied with Webb type A "AMOY PAID" cds in red. Transit Hong Kong (1 Apr). Arrived Edinburgh (13 May). Webb only recorded 8 pre-adhesive usage of this cds on covers and this one was dated later than Webb's record (26 Mar 1862). In Nov 2024, AVA offered an entire from Amoy to Jose Matia in Cadiz dated 26 Apr 1861 with same type A cds which was hammered at HKD$52,000 (lot 2538).

1862.3.29 廈門寄蘇格蘭。郵簡，寫有“via Marseilles”及“1/6”郵資，鈐Webb A型“AMOY PAID”廈門已付紅色日戳。4.1經香港。5.13抵愛丁堡。Webb記錄中，蓋有此戳之無貼票封僅有八件，而這件日期比Webb的記錄（1862年3月26日）更晚。 2024年11月艾華秋拍中，一件1861年4月26日自廈門寄加的斯Jose Matia，蓋有相同A型日戳之郵簡以港幣5萬2千元落鎚（拍品號2538）。
