1844 By Charles A Winchester, medical officer at the British Consulate (21 Oct) to Scotland. Entire letter, sent "via Southampton" and rated "1/-", probably carried by ship Mor to Hong Kong (2 Nov). Transit London (17 Feb). Arrived Aberdeen (19 Feb). Very little correspondence from Amoy before the arrival of the AMOY PAID cds have survived. Webb recorded only one dated 15 Mar 1846 which was also from the consulate to Scotland with same rate and Hong Kong transit cds.

1844.10.21 由英國領事館醫生Charles A Winchester寄蘇格蘭。郵簡，寫有“via Southampton”及“1/-”郵資，應是由Mor號送至香港，鈐香港11.2中轉戳。2.17經倫敦。2.19抵鴨巴甸。 Webb A型“AMOY PAID”日戳抵達前之廈門史前封十分稀罕少見。Webb記錄中僅見一件，日期為1846年3月15日，同樣由領事館寄蘇格蘭，郵資相同並同樣蓋有香港中轉戳。
