1817 C.W. Martin onboard Milford at Whampoa (20 Oct) to his sister in England. Entire letter without postmark, enclosing the music score for the Bay of Biscay in content. He mentioned that the weather in China "is so hot and the mosquioes so troublesome". Interesting early pre-adhesive.
