1938 Hinkonghu (16 Aug) to Canton. Registered cover, f.w. SYS 20c + Martyrs 1c, tied by Hinkonghu bilingual cds. Arrived Canton (16 Aug). On front with “Those who keep silver in private is traitor” cachet. Canton fell into Japanese hand in Oct 1938. Cover opened at top.

1938.8.16 蜆崗墟寄廣州。掛號封，背貼孫像2角 + 烈士1分，銷蜆崗墟三格英漢日戳。8.16抵廣州。正鈐“私藏白銀 就是漢奸”口號戳。 封頂打開。廣州於同年十月淪陷。
