Lot 1112

1931 Ulanbator (32 Oct; presumably intend to be 22 Oct) to Kalgan. Chinese style cover, f.w. imperforated revenue stamp surch 5 menge + 1 dropped stamp, tied by Ulanbator cds. In combination with ROC postage due 20c + 30c, tied by faint arrival cds. One of the 7 covers f.w. imperf menge surch stamp recorded by Hellgirl. However, Hellrigl stated that this cover should also have a 20m stamp and is the only known cover with mixed franking of imperforated and perforated surch menge stamp. The 20m was probably lost during delivery or storage before arrival at AVA office.

1931.10.32 （日期誤植，可能為10.22）烏蘭巴托寄張家口。中式封，背貼印花稅票改值5 menge無齒票 + 一枚掉票，銷烏蘭巴托日戳。加貼民國欠資票2角 + 3角，銷模糊之到達戳。為Hellrigl記錄之七件貼用無齒改值menge票的信封之一。Hellrigl指此封應另貼有一枚改值20m票，並同時為混貼無齒及有齒改值menge票之孤例。故應有一枚有齒20m票於抵達艾華辦公室前丟失。
