1897 Empress Dowager re-drawn design surch large figure, narrow spaced 2c on 2ca in horizontal pair with left margin, impef between varriety (Chan 83a), position 9 and 10 of pane I. MH with original gum. Only one complete sheet with this variety was known which means 15 pair exist at most. 12 pairs, included this pair, were recorded. 1980 (Feb) Brum Pederson. 2019 (18 Jan) Spink China, The Lam Man Yin Collection of Small Dragons, Dowagers and 1897 Surcharges, lot 888, realized HKD$60,000.

1897慈壽改版加蓋大字短距2分蓋2分銀橫雙連新帶左邊紙，中縫漏齒變異（陳目83a），洋字分別破版及凹點，出自第一盤格第9及第10位置。此變異目前僅發現一全張，換言之最多僅十五件橫雙連存世，當中十二件（包含此件）已有所記錄。 1980.2 Brum Pederson 2019.1.18 斯賓克中國，林文琰小龍、慈壽及其加蓋票專場，拍品號888。落槌價6萬港元。
