1855 (6 Aug) entire letter from Macao to Lincoln’s Inn, London, rated “2/-” and applied with scarce type 2-5-1 “P.PAID” cachet and London PAID arrival cds (5 Oct). On the flap with offset of the “P.PAID” cachet. With tears and repaired by tape. Cover no. 744 in Choi Cheong Too’s survey of postal history of Macau 1616-1891. Choi stated that only 23 letters recorded with type 2-5-1 postmark.

1855.8.6 澳門寄倫敦Lincoln’s Inn。郵簡，寫有郵資“2-/”，鈐少見之2-5-1型“P.PAID”戳記及倫敦10.5到達戳。背面帶有P.PAID戳之透印。封帶裂痕但被膠帶修補。蔡昌道“1916年至1891年澳門郵票發行前郵政史調查與紀錄”中之第744件封。鈐2-5-1型戳記之信件，蔡昌道記錄僅有23件。
