1912 (Nov) Official cover from the Tibet Expeditionary Force to Songpan, applied with “Chengt Official Mail” type 4 cachet in red. Cover damaged at bottom corner but not affect the main body. In 1912, ROC sent troops to stop the attempted independence of Tibet. During the expedition, Yizhan system was adopted. 9 such covers were recorded in “Tibet Stamps and Postal History” by Danny Wong and Steve Chazen. A few more examples were seen in auctions. Forerunner of Chinese military mails.

1912.11 征藏軍事封寄松潘廳知事，鈐“成都公文郵便”4型橢圓形戳記。封底兩角有損但不影響郵戳。 1912年，民國派軍阻止西藏獨立。征藏軍以驛遞方式傳遞軍政公文，王劍智及蔡盛著《青康藏郵驛史》 記錄存世信封有九件，多年來拍賣場上另見一兩例但仍稀罕萬分。可謂中國軍郵之鼻祖。
